Welcome to Enneabites.com

In a chaotic and topsy turvy world it is easy to lose our way. We are trying our best to navigate work, family, commitments, leisure, chores. We can find ourselves treading water, just doing enough to get by. We aren’t really living, we’re surviving. We aren’t thriving.

You may be asking yourself “is this it?” What if that’s not true? What if you knew yourself a bit more deeply to discover it’s possible to live more authentically, vibrantly, and fully? The enneagram is a rich, profound and powerful lens through which you can begin this journey.

The Enneabites website offers information about the enneagram for you to apply to your life- all of it. It offers suggestions for trying new ways of showing up. And if this leads you to a deeper dive you can explore enneagram-based coaching.

What is the Enneagram?

The enneagram is a personality type system that describes nine distinct yet interconnected types. Each type has a unique motivation that drives actions, responses, focus of attention, and priorities. Unlike other personality systems, the enneagram also describes pathways for growth. In understanding our own type and the type of others, we can show up with more self-awareness and other awareness. This means we can participate with others more skilfully and thoughtfully.

Enneagram Tests

If you haven’t done the enneagram, I highly recommend two options:

There are many online simplified tests. The Integrative and Compass tests provide 20+ pages of rich information with 95%+ accuracy. If you want to learn what your enneagram type is to start you on your course of growth, then you want to use the best tests available.

How Does Knowing the Enneagram Type Support My Self-awareness and Awareness of Others?

Once you land in your type, you have the opportunity to now observe yourself with greater clarity and understanding. You start to see how your type runs the show. That means you are reacting from an unconscious place. As you start to see these unconscious habits, you now have a choice- do I want to react or do I want to respond with more self-awareness?

Unlike other personality systems, the enneagram provides pathways for growth. This pathway gradually unlocks the armor and opens us to our essential self which is filled with a calm and spacious heart, mind, and body.
